Borehole sounding also allows large sounding depths to be achieved. Borehole detection is the method that offers the greatest possible safety for checking shoring, sheet pile axes, penetrations, drilling and pile driving work. For this purpose - adapted to the construction project - drill starting points are set up in rows, in the grid or at the position of the planned shoring supports.
The execution of borehole soundings is divided into different work steps. By means of low-vibration auger drilling, the boreholes are produced within the scope of deep sounding or borehole sounding in the Rhine-Main area in order to pierce the hazard band relevant to explosive ordnance. After subsequent casing with plastic pipes, the borehole is secured.
Depending on the ground conditions and the influence of existing buildings and pipeline locations, the boreholes that have been drilled are examined by means of a probe. The geomagnetic probe, the 3-axis magnetometer or the borehole georadar are used.
