In the field of construction and housing, explosive ordnance disposal is an important topic. As a building owner responsibility for ensuring that the building site is free of explosive ordnance and is obliged to check for the presence of explosive ordnance in the construction area before construction work begins.
Only specialist companies are permitted to carry out any exploration work for explosive ordnance. As a specialist company according to § 7 SprengG (German Explosives Act), we have this qualification and use our experienced geophysicists and specialist technical supervisors according to § 20 SprengG (German Explosives Act) in the Rhine-Main area as well as our other locations.
Even though the end of the war was decades ago, we still regularly find unexploded bombs and explosive ordnance in the ground as part of our explosive ordnance recovery and ordnance disposal services. We work with the most modern, geophysical probing methods and can guarantee an explosive ordnance-free handover at the end of our work.
If suspected explosive ordnance points, also called anomalies, have been evaluated by the sounding, we check them by excavation. The anomalies are measured on site using RTK-GPS, marked and then uncovered by a specialist in accordance with § 20 SprengG (German Explosives Act).
When recovering explosive ordnance, we use our blast-protected excavators in accordance with BGI 201-027.
